5 INSPIRING FALL-READY TABLESCAPES

This year, as we prepare for our annual Thanksgiving gathering and entertaining (or hunkering down at home with our families) we’re going back to basics with earth and neutral tones, natural textures, and special touches to make our homes feel welcoming and warm. One way we’re instilling this coziness into our homes? Fall-inspired tablescapes.

Tablescapes are dining room design ideas that can change the look and feel of your home. If you’re thinking about how to prep your dining room for Thanksgiving, dressing your table is one of the easiest ways. It's the perfect way to bring happiness home this season, as you enjoy your cozy Thanksgiving dinner. So, whether you’re celebrating solo or hosting a small gathering and looking for a Thanksgiving tablescape, we’ve got a look to inspire you.

NEUTRAL AND NATURAL

Let's bring on the fall vibes to your table! Celebrate the colors and coziness of the season with this neutral-toned tablescape designed by The House of Gather. This is perfect for the lover of all things fall décor, as it brings in a mixture of wood, gold, natural materials, and fall foliage. Plus, a beautiful mix of lavish, warm fall colors! This makes the perfect Thanksgiving tabletop décor and is a great look for your fall gatherings.

Neutral Menu

Tips to achieve this look:

Instead of a traditional table runner, try a magnolia garland - it's rich fall hues help ground the center of the table. Dried leaves and dried fruit adds subtle color and pairs beautifully with our Sun rattan Charger. Our Stone Dinnerware brings in contrast while maintaining a chill vibe.

COOL AND CALM

This tropical-inspired fall dining look designed by Anna Lucia Events is the perfect setting for a casual and festive brunch. Our bamboo chairs are chic and (most importantly!) very very comfortable. We're swooning over the Indian Block Print tablecloth and slate blue waffle napkins matched with our Bone flatware.

For al fresco dining, these blue hues put a fresh twist on the traditional fall color palette.

Tips to achieve this look:

Set up the center of your table with a tropical centerpiece that will give that tropical seaside vibe. We recommend Monstera leaves. If you live in South Florida, then you will find them all over Miami, Tampa, Naples and throughout the Florida Keys. Not only are they beautiful, but they don't require you to place a special order with a florist.

THE TRENDY FALL TABLESCAPE

If you prefer neutral, but with a splash of color, invite your friends and family for this sophisticated, but laid back gathering. The floral colors are bright and cheery, but not overpowering - and the beige chiffon tablerunner and candles are an easy way to dress up your table without breaking the bank.

Our White + Gold flatware is really a star in this placesetting.

Tips to achieve this look:

This design is all about simple and neutral color palettes. Your foliage will be the main decorative element for this tablescape, so focus your energy here; then, layer in some white earthy neutrals. Next, marble pieces and like gold-rimmed dinnerware or glassware heighten the look.

THE INDUSTRIAL, COZY AND INVITING TABLE

If you drift towards an industrial, moody look, consider this look. Black is often used for a 40th birthday party or black-tie wedding; however, who says you can't use it for Thanksgiving? Burgundy anemones carry out the moody look, while peach roses and hot pink freesia soften the tablescape.

Tips to achieve this look:

Think about using a floral garland instead of the traditional centerpiece. For those aspiring Martha Stewarts, you can try your hand by following this floral garland tutorial.

Our Jet and Oro dinnerware and Black + Gold flatware dress up the wood table. Black candles are a unique choice on this tablescape give an added warmth and layered lighting. When hosting guests, give each place setting a personal touch with place cards, and perhaps even a small flower on top of your dinnerware to decorate or take home!

THE WELCOMING SET-UP

We saved the best for last! This tablescape is simultaneously chic, relaxing, and brings in a bit of Southern Charm. To create this tablescape, we chose a slate blue table linen from Nuage Designs, and partnered with Anthology Co. for the centerpiece.

THE COZY TABLESCAPE FOR VIRTUAL GATHERINGS

We know that because of COVID, some of us can’t gather for Thanksgiving dinner in person. How about you make it a virtual gathering? Coordinate for you and your loved ones to have the same decor - that way, it will feel as if you are sitting at the same table.
