TROPICAL FANTASY WEDDING AT THE VIZCAYA MUSEUM AND GARDENS

Earth Charger + Rose Gold Flatware

Featured in Martha Stewart Weddings

When Katia Maria Reguero and New York Met’s shortstop Francisco Lindor decided to tie the knot, they knew Vizcaya Museum and Gardens was the perfect venue! This lavish home-turned-museum is surrounded by water and has the ability to transport any guest to the decadence of the Roaring Twenties. The couple worked with Brooke Keegan Events to bring together every detail of this dreamy wedding celebration, a process that Katia truly loved. She explained that the excitement was there, but things didn't really feel 'real' until she started seeing her ideas and visions come to life with the design and floral mockups.

So, are you excited? Grab a glass of wine (we won’t judge) and comfortably settle in to really take it all in as we show your this breathtaking Vizcaya Museum wedding. Scroll down to see more of the beautiful details.

Perfect lighting sets the perfect mood. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens majestic architecture shining through made sure to put touches of blush around. The art deco details surrounding the area kept the mood as romantic as possible for the couple.  Good thing Jose Villa photography, made sure to capture every moment with sweet shots of this beautiful dreamy wedding.

The reception party, which took place under a tent, was designed to feel like an extension of Vizcaya’s majestic architecture landscape and took cues from its romantic gardens. A mix of long and round tables were placed inside the expansive space, which encapsulated a full bar and dance floor.

Overflowing floral arrangements from Sarah Winward were placed in cast iron vessels with sandstone-hued candles that trailed down the tabletops. Oh, and how can we forget the gorgeous chandeliers composed of tiny wooden beads with an oceanic feel that looked like coral and was patterned on Bride’s Oscar de la Renta ceremony dress. It was just a sight to behold!

Our Earth Charger and Rose Gold Flatware was the perfect complement to the textural linens from La Tavola that gave off a slight sheen as a nod to the sea just beyond the venue. The wooden chairs were also a great addition to the aesthetic of the venue as it contributed to the romantic laid back feeling during the reception party. It’s just perfectly planned and designed. It made possible to tie organic vibe with romantic and dreamy details.

Now that the couple is on the other side of their big day, they have a few words of wisdom for couples currently in the planning phase. "Try not to stress about the little things—everything will work out the way it is meant to," says Katia, who also advises spending "time with your spouse throughout the night—it flies by."
