THE MIAMI BEACH EDITION WEDDING

White and Gold Flatware

A white and gold wedding is an elegant color palette with a touch of glamour. One piece of advice I always give my clients is to aim for something that has "staying power". When you peruse your wedding album 40 or 50 years from now, do you want to laugh at a baby blue, ruffled tuxedo or do you want to channel Grace Kelly?

From dinnerware to candlesticks, your white and gold wedding table décor will forever be timeless. With planning and design by Always and Always Events and gorgeous wedding photography by Katie Lopez Photography, this Miami Beach Edition Hotel is one that will inspire many brides and grooms. This reception is a great example of how you can create a luxurious look with more affordable and basic decor.

When one thinks of a white table cloth, one automatically thinks boring (am I right?); however, white is a lynchpin in this color scheme. When planning your wedding, think about your color palette in percentages. Your primary color should take up 60%, followed by 30% for your secondary color and 10% for your tertiary color. As you can see here, white is the primary color, followed by beige, and then green. This is a common rule of thumb in interior design as well as in the wedding industry.

Refreshing white tablescape

We’ll move onto this white and gold wedding table with beautiful white floral centerpieces from Ever After Floral Design. If you are looking for a talented and versatile Miami Florist, look no further than Helen Rodriguez. Helen and I started in this industry around the same time, and we have "grown up" together! She possesses the ability to serve up chic and luxurious weddings or artsy and bohemian. As a photographer with Alisa Ferris Photography, one frustration I have with florals is when there are many empty holes in the centerpieces. As you scroll down, you'll notice how beautifully Helen has filled out these arrangements.

Again, transparent vases, tea-lights and clear glassware is normally a mundane choice; however, in this design, it's meant to serve as a deliberate accent.
